Class 3:
For handlers and dogs having passed the test from class two or who have demonstrated to the satisfaction of an instructor their ability to work at this level
Class Three is designed to cover even more advanced training to a much higher standard. The bond with your dog is paramount, as the work you do with your dog will be fun but testing. The work in this class is often off the lead which in its self requires total concentration, timing, trust and confidence. Again you will be trained to handle your dog with kindness and care and top class methods.
Training:
Heel on lead
Obedience Class 'A' standard
Sit, Stand and Down stays (longer times)
Class 'A' recall
Temperament test
Full retrieve
Introduction to send away and scent exercises
Test will cover:
Heel on lead, and heel of lead to a good class 'A' standard. Class 'A' temperament test, sit and down stays (times at judge's discretion), full retrieve. Please note for this test handlers will only be allowed to use the minimum of commands, i.e. dogs name and heel at the beginning of the exercise no use of encouragement or body language until after the instruction, exercise is finished.
